Der Kärntner Landeshauptmann Jörg Haider ist Freitagabend vom BZÖ-Bundesparteivorstand zum Nachfolger Peter Westenthalers als Parteichef designiert worden. Er soll auf einem Sonderparteitag am 30. August in Graz gewählt werden.
